I just upgraded one of my machines from 16.04×64 (working fine before) to 18.04. Everything is working well except seemingly random freezing, which I assume is due to my video card based on similar symptoms on a different computer. When it freezes, I can switch to terminal using
Ctrl+F3 combos and can see the screen but am unable to click or move anything.
lspci | grep VGA gives me
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Turks PRO [Radeon HD 7570]
How can I fix this issue? Loading Ubuntu’s ‘additional hardware’ screen shows no available drivers to choose from. Thank you for your help!
