qemu cannot boot from usb device use the usb-host option

When I boot like this:

sudo qemu-system-x86_64 -m 4G -enable-kvm -cpu host -vga qxl -bios /usr/share/ovmf/OVMF.fd -boot menu=on -usb -device usb-host,vendorid=0x078a,productid=0x4761

It failed. When I go into the bios menu it does not show any usb disk in boot option.

But if I directly use -hda /dev/sdx it works. How can I make the qemu detect the usb disk? Is there any option or procedure I am missing here.
