I’m a first generation Native American college drop out. Recent dropout. Since I dropped out in the spring of 2019. It was all due to my learning disability and struggle with my mental health.
However it’s been 7 months and I’ve taken the time to think crucially about what I want and I know now.
I’ve decided I want to attend NAU in the Spring of 2020. I’m so passionate about going back to school and furthering my education. I know what I want. I want to major in Criminology and Criminal Justice as well as Pre-Law with a minor in Indigenous Studies. I know NAU offers resources that could help me exponentially. However I should just give the facts and leave it for anyone out there who can advise me.
-I have 35 credits
-78 as a grade point
-With high school I was a whole sorta different student. I was average but like a good average. I graduated with a GPA of 2.8 if my HS transcript is required for NAU.
I really am passionate about going back to school and I’m aware of the resources that I’ll have available especially the determination I have to want to do better. I just need to know.
