Which hash algorhythms do google, facebook, etc… use to hash millions of filenames in the same category?

I have lots (>1000000) of files with similiar filenames. I have read google, facebook et al are hashing the filenames so to speed up read operations from their filesystems. Which hash algorhythms are in use at google, facebook, apple, microsoft, …? There must surely be literature or developers’ blogs out there that detail which algorhythms…

nfs kerberos: multiple clients different directories

I’ve set up kerberos with NFS and it’s working fine.
