I’m trying to change my i3 font on NixOS. I’ve installed the font Roboto via nix-env -iA nixos.roboto and event copied it to ~/.fonts just to cover my bases. Setting font pango:Roboto 11 in my i3 config has no effect.

Uncorrectable Error in Hard Disk

My understanding is T10-DIFF/DIX( also known as T10-PI) was proposed to prevent silent data corruption. And of the hard disk/SSD vendors have already implemented/adopted this solution as part of their architecture. Still there are uncorrectable/silent error reported by the disk SMART metrics. What could be the possible reason behind this? Am I missing something?
