Did Spotify just block the sounds from other apps? My tool bar on top right looks like this: I’m not able to adjust the volume from system preferences although Spotify can still play songs. Now I can’t play any sound from Youtube. Anybody knows why? I’m using MacOS Mojave.

It’s annoying to always have to change my default audio device back to my headphones every time I plug my PS4 controllers in. Is there a way to completely disable them from ever being used as audio devices? Or at least not have them set themselves to default? On Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
