And after all, I ended up getting this error: Failed to Open a session for the virtual machine Ubuntu. VMMR0_DO_NEM_INIT_VM failed: […]
Is there an easy way to limit the ram consumption of a specific program? I have a program that generates a really big file, up to 1 gb and it causes my whole laptop to freeze up. I want to limit the ram usage of the program so it doesn’t freeze.
The touchpad on the Lenovo X1 Carbon (3rd Gen) is supposed to support two-finger scroll. However even after enabling it the two-finger scroll support is broken and using two fingers has no additional effect.

I installed devtoolset-7 via root (i.e. sudo -i), and it installed okay. Then I did scl enable devtoolkit-7 bash but it dosn’t seem to do anything. [affan@abm-lab […]
I had an issue with my zpool – the dev id changed and one of the drives dropped out as degraded. I’ve exported the pool and reimported using this command: zpool import -d /dev/disk/by-id zpool_primary The status now appears as: root@gomez:/home/nick# zpool status pool: zpool_primary state: DEGRADED status: One or more devices has been taken […]
I’ve set up my own Certificate Authority based on a Debian 10 system and I can successfully sign certificates. But when I do so by using the command openssl ca -in /root/ca/certreqs/domain.tld.csr -out /root/ca/certs/domain.tld.crt, I’m getting a certificate file that includes both normal text as well as a PEM-encoded part. This file’s content starts with: […]
